Hunter's research is focused on coyote and gray fox ecology throughout the state of Ohio. His work includes trapping and GPS collaring coyotes and gray foxes throughout the state to determine space and habitat use, movement patterns, and survival. Hunter's career goal is to return to furbearer research with a state wildlife agency to promote the sustainable and responsible use and management of wildlife.
